Passenger traffic at UK airports run by BAA fell by 1.7 percent in June year-on-year.
BAA, which is majority owned by Spain’s Ferrovial, on Monday said 9.5 million passengers flew from its airports last month, down from 9.7 million in June 2009.
That was mostly due to strikes by British Airways cabin crew over pay and conditions.
Air freight rose nearly 22 percent at BAA airports, with the figures for 2010 so far well up on last year.
