Haute couture in Paris

Fashion designers have gathered in Paris France this week to unveil their haute couture collections for next autumn. For Christian Dior, John Galliano covered everything with flowers.

Bouchra Jarrar showed her second post-Lacroix collection saying that she was inspired by the femininity around her.

And Lebanese designer George Chakra stayed with good old fashioned Hollywood glamour: “It’s more Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo and Gilda; this type of black and white movies. But here you see it in colours. There’s lots of glamour in these dresses, lots of sensuality and lots of elegance.”
