Air France-KLM planes fuller

Air France-KLM’s revenues rose strongly in June.

Passenger and cargo activity grew faster than the airline’s capacity, which it deliberately kept low during the recession.

Passenger traffic increased 4.7 percent and the load factor, which measures how well an airline fills its planes, was also up.

The Franco-Dutch airline said improved unit revenues reflected both an underlying recovery in demand and efforts to keep a lid on capacity.
