Another strike was underway on Tuesday at a parts supplier in southern China is hitting production by Japanese car manufacturers there – including Toyota and Honda.

The plant, which makes fuel injection equipment, is owned by Japan’s Denso Corporation.

It is the latest in a string of labour-related disruptions at foreign-owned manufacturers across the country.

As with the other disputes, workers want higher pay.
