Gunmen have attacked a NATO supply convoy near Islamabad, killing at least seven people.
It is the first such incident to occur so close to the Pakistani capital.
More than 50 trucks en route for Afghanistan were set on fire. Police say around a dozen suspected Taliban fighters ambushed the vehicles.
The assault underscores growing insecurity in Pakistan, where the Taliban have unleashed a wave of suicide and bomb attacks across the country in retaliation for military offensives on their strongholds in the northwest.
