Israeli video released of flotilla assault

Amid international condemnation of its storming of a Turkish aid ship bound for Gaza, the Israeli military has released its own video of the operation.
The footage is said to show the opposition its commandos met from pro-Palestinian activists as they boarded the biggest ship in the six-vessel convoy.
At least ten people died in the confrontation, triggering a major diplomatic crisis.
Israel maintains its troops acted in self defence in what they say was supposed to be more of a policing operation  to prevent the ships from breaking its blockade of the Gaza strip. But things went seriously wrong when some of the 700 activists resisted.
Several Israeli soldiers were also injured in the clashes.
Eventually the convoy was escorted into Israel’s Ashdod port and the injured taken to hospital. Once treated the activists were arrested and are expected to be deported from Israel within days.
