A bombing in Pakistan has killed at least 12 people including three policemen.
Officials say the bomb was mounted on a bicycle and targeted at a police van in the northwestern town of Dera Ismail Khan.
A deputy superintendent, his guard and his driver all died in the explosion.
Dera Ismail Khan borders the tribal region of South Waziristan. Many Taliban militants used to operate there but fled to neighbouring areas after an army offensive.
Hospital doctors said ten people were injured in the blast. Women and children were also among the 12 fatalities, they added.
