Inflation jumps in UK, stable in EU

Bad inflation data in Britain means the Bank of England governor has some explaining to do. Mervyn King will be writing his letter to George Osborne in the coming days because of a 3.7 percent year on year increase in April, above the government’s three percent limit. By comparison Eurozone inflation is on target, at 1.5 percent year on year in April.
