Number of protesters killed in Bangkok rises

There are fresh scenes of death and violence on the streets of Bangkok.
 
Three people are reported to have been shot dead by soldiers on Saturday morning, bringing the death toll in the last 24 hours to at least 19.
 
Troops are struggling to isolate a sprawling encampment of demonstrators calling for the resignation of the government.
 
The latest fighting between the red-shirt protesters and soldiers have now entered a third day, with many troops replacing rubber bullets with live rounds.
