Apple shares soar on profit jump Japanese consumer electronics maker Sony is forecasting a five fold jump in annual operating profit to 1.34 billion euros in the coming year, but that did fall short of market expectations.
It plans to slashing manufacturing costs of flat screen television sales sell more as well as launch 3D-capable video games; both area have been major drags on Sony’s earnings in recent years.
