There has been a second knife attack in a Chinese primary school in 24 hours.
28 children were injured, several seriously, along with three adults in Taixing in the east, and a 47 year-old man has been arrested. It follows 16 injuries in Leizhou in Guangdong province yesterday after a teacher on sick leave attacked a primary school then threw himself out of a second-storey window. He too is under arrest.
Both attacks follow yesterday’s execution of Zhengh Minshang, who a month ago killed eight in the first of these murder sprees, in an attack that stirred the Chinese people.
He claimed depression after being dumped by his girlfriend. The teacher in Guangdong province had mental problems reports official media, but the reasons for the latest attack are unknown.
