Shell predicts new growth after earnings rise

Europe’s biggest oil company Royal Dutch Shell has announced a 57 per cent rise in earnings, after stepping up production for the first time in three years.

New projects in Brazil and Russia, along with higher oil prices helped with the increase.

The Chief Executive said there are 13 more projects coming on stream this year and next, putting the company in what he called a ‘delivery window for new growth.’
