SAP rising in Germany


Germany’s software giant SAP has posted double-digit growth in first quarter sales and operating profit as corporations begin spending on technology again.

The company, which competes with the likes of Oracle, Microsoft and IBM, said pre-tax earnings grew by 47 per cent to more than half a billion euros.

SAP has more than 92000 clients including Audi, Apple, McDonalds and Pepsi.
