German WePad to take on iPad

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and a German company has announced a potential rival to the iPad tablet computer.

The WePad boasts some things the iPad does not have such as a webcam, USB ports to connect a printer or other devices and will support Flash, used by many internet sites.

Apple said this week that due to high level of demand in the US the iPad will not be available in other countries until late May.
