Russian anti-racist judge shot dead in Moscow

A top Russian judge has been gunned down outside his apartment in Central Moscow in an apparent contract killing.

Police say Eduard Chusahov was shot in the chest and head as he left for work on Monday morning. He died at the scene.

These CCTV images have been released show this man entering the building. Investigators say the suspect is of average build, in his late 20s and wore a white baseball cap.

Officers have been scouring the scene all day in search of clues over who killed the judge.

Media reports have speculated the ultra-nationalist White Wolves could be involved.

Chusahov jailed members of the notorious skinhead gang back in February. The 47-year-old is reported to have refused bodyguard protection despite receiving numerous death threats.
