German troops 'mistakenly' kill six Afghan soldiers


German troops are said to have mistakenly killed six Afghan soldiers hours after losing three of their own troops in a firefight with insurgents.

The governor of Kunduz province says the Germans fired on an army vehicle late on Friday night near Chardara district.

Earlier three German soldiers were killed in
Kunduz and five others were seriously injured in a Taliban ambush.
