Japanese businesses more upbeat


Japanese business morale improved in March according to a survey carried out by the Bank of Japan.

It is now at the highest level in more than a year, however the survey showed companies remain cautious about spending.

And analysts pointed out that the level of economic activity is still low, suggesting the government will not ease up the pressure on Japan’s central bank to pump more money into the economy to stimulate it.
