Bomb attacks target Iraqi political official


At least half a dozen people are reported to have been killed and 15 wounded in bomb attacks near the home of an Iraqi political official.

Four explosions are reported to have hit the town of Qaim, in the western Anbar province.

A member of a political movement allied to ex-prime minister Iyad Allawi is reported to have died.

Allawi’s secular Iraqiya list won the most seats in elections on March 7.
