Four German pensioners have been convicted for kidnapping and holding hostage their financial advisor.
This to try to recover money lost on property investments.
The 74-year-old so-called mastermind of the operation has been sentenced to six years in prison and another man, aged 61, to four years.
Their wives aged 80 and 64 have been given suspended jail terms.
The couples are alleged to have tied up the victim, put him in the boot of a car and taken him to a house in Bavaria.
The financial advisor was freed by the police after four days. But it is reported he is now facing an investigation himself.
