In congress common sense has finally prevailed after a sole Republican lawmaker had blocked the short term extension of government funded unemployment benefits. Now that block has been lifted. The woes of the country’s economy are everywhere even in comics.

Spiderman that all American iconic hero has fallen victim to the depressed market. Future editions of the comic are set to follow his search to get back to work. It seems no one in the worst recession in America for three generations is safe from the harsh reality.
