Rescuers are struggling to find survivors in Chile, a day after a quake killed at least 400 people.
In the town of Concepcion, they picked their way through a ruined 15-floor apartment building.
They’ve reportedly pulled out around 30 survivors and ten dead bodies.
It’s feared up to 60 people are still trapped inside.
“I climbed up high,” one survivor said. “I saw a light, that was a window. I thought I was going to die.”
Outgoing President Michelle Bachelet says around two million people were displaced by the 8.8 magnitude quake.
She’s declared a state of catastrophe in central Chile, but says the full extent of the damage is still not known.
