A strike at German airline Lufthansa that left thousands of passengers stranded on Monday is being suspended.
The stoppage was meant to last for four days but pilots agreed to return to work from midnight, as their union representatives pursue negotiations.
No further action will now be held until March 9 at the earliest.
The strike, over job security, caused travel chaos.
But air passengers woes are not over yet. British Airways cabin crew have voted to take industrial action over pay and conditions.
