Scorsese's "Shutter Island" aired in Berlin


Esteemed director Martin Scorsese brings his latest movie to the Berlin film festival “Shutter Island” stars Leonardo DiCaprio in a psycho-drama set in a high security psychiatric hospital.

Scorsese claims he was trying to recreate the atmosphere of paranoia present in 1950’s America at the start the Cold War.

Actor Ben Kingsley praised the 67-year-old movie maker:

“Martin Scorsese is one of the kindest men you will
ever meet and certainly one of the most intelligent. He loves cinema he loves cinema, he loves acting and he takes care of you beautifully on set. Everything flows with him, he’s a maestro.”

The film goes on release across Europe in late February and early January.
