Seven people, including three children, have been killed in a bomb attack near a school in northwestern Pakistan.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility.
Earlier reports said the adult victims were journalists or aid workers, but authorities now say they were three US soldiers and a Pakistani soldier.
The Americans were part of a small unit that
trains Pakistani troops.
The attack in the Lower Dir district is reported to have left more than 40 other people wounded.
Police say the school collapsed in the bombing and children were trapped under the rubble.
The blast happened near Swat Valley, an area the army had largely cleared of militants in a crackdown nearly a year ago.
