Long-lost Roman water source discovered

A pair of amateur archaeologists claim to have found the source of an aqueduct that used to bring fresh water to ancient Rome. Acqua Traiana was constructed under Trajan’s rule in 109 AD, and was used for 1,500 years, until it was re-built by Pope Paul V and re-named the “Acqua Paola” after him.
