You may need to take a second look at pictures appearing on walls in Park City, Utah.
A cameraman pulling a flower is one of five drawings that have ‘mysteriously’ appeared in this mountain town during the Sundance Film festival.
It is the work of a street artist called “Banksy”. Created with stencils it has won public approval.
Lucia Bisbee manages the Java Cow cafe. She said:
“When we learned a little bit more about it we thought it was pretty cool. It is something not many people can talk about – it is a nice piece of modern art.”
A documentary about the life of the mysterious artist will be shown at the festival. He is a man of intrigue as is the title to this film.
Banksy’s work first appeared on the streets of cities in England and has since appeared in many other countries.
He has his critics. His work has been slammed as graffiti, while with others his reputation has grown. It is said a ‘Banksy’ original can boost the value of a building.
As yet the artist’s opinion is unknown, just who is he and why he makes such work remains a mystery.
