European foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton has said she will visit Haiti but has not picked a date yet.
This follows a meeting this week with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.
They agreed on a “co-ordinated response” for Haiti’s reconstruction.
A donor’s conference will be held in Montreal, Canada, on Monday, but Ashton will not intend as she is chairing a meeting in Brussels.
The EU’s top diplomat has been criticised by MEPs for not yet visiting the stricken Caribbean island.
