Junker re-elected Eurozone chairman

The Eurozone’s finance ministers have re-elected Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Jean-Claude Junker to serve a third two and a half year term as the group’s chairman.

The vote was unanimous, and Junker will continue to lead the 16-member states monthly meetings, in tandem with the ECB and European Commission, which discusses economic policy. Junker also looks after the Treasury in his home country.
