It’s now known at least 75 people died in a suicide bombing in northwest Pakistan. A car packed with explosives blew up at a volleyball match, where around 200 people were watching the game. And, it’s feared the number of victims will rise. Dozens were injured as buildings collapsed and many are trapped.
Women, children and members of a local anti-Taliban committee were among those killed in the blast near Lakki Marwat, in a region known for being a militant stronghold.
It is one of the most deadly blasts to hit Pakistan where a wave of attacks have killed nearly 3,000 people over the last two and a half years.
