Italy president slams UK over hostage deaths British hostage Peter Moore has been released alive after two and a half years in captvity in Iraq, the Foreign Office says.
The 36-year-old IT consultant from Lincoln, was seized at the Iraqi Ministry of Finance in Baghdad in May 2007.
Three bodyguards seized at the same time were later shot dead and their bodies flown back to the UK. A fourth bodyguard, Alan McMenemy, from Glasgow, remains unaccounted for.
