world news

| |

US President, Barack Obama, is a step closer to reforming the American healthcare system. The US Senate has adopted the bill by 60 votes to 39. Therefore, the President has secured the majority needed to implement change.

President Obama is hoping the reforms will provide more security and stability to people who already have healthcare insurance, give it to those who do not and slow the rising costs of providing it to the nation.
