Swiss vote against a ban on military weapons exports

Today was a double referendum day for the Swiss as they also voted on whether there should be a ban on exporting military weapons. They voted to reject the ban by over 68%.

Swiss arms exports represent some 477 million euros each year, and the industry argued any such ban would cost 10,000 jobs.More about: Arms industry, Referendum, Switzerland, War
