Liechtenstein removed from tax haven watchlist


Liechtenstein has been taken off an international watchlist of tax havens after signing agreements to cooperate with foreign countries in tax matters.

The G20 has threatened sanctions against all financial centres that did not. Liechtenstein has now signed treaties with Germany, France, Britain and the US and is working on deals with other countries. Switzerland, Luxembourg and Austria are among those already removed from the list.
