Spain’s Grupo Ferrovial has agreed to sell London’s second-busiest airport Gatwick for a loss.

It is getting a smaller-than-expected 1.67 billion euros. The buyer is Global Infrastructure Partners, a consortium involving Credit Suisse and General Electric, which already owns London City Airport. The UK Competition Commission ordered Ferrovial to sell three of the ten UK airports it owns.
