The Basque separatist leader Aranaldo Otegi has been arrested on the orders of Spain’s super judge Baltasar Garzon.

Otegi and five others were captured in the city of San Sebastian. Reports say they are suspected of trying to restart the radical Batasuna movement following direct instructions from ETA. Otegi could also face charges of ‘glorifying terrorism’. Batasuna was banned in 2003 because of its suppossed links to the terrorist group ETA.More about: , ,
