Exports from Germany fell in August for the first time in four months, reducing hopes of robust third quarter growth in Europe’s largest economy.Adjusted for seasonal factors, exports fell 1.8 percent from July. Figures from the Federal Statistics Office showed imports rose by 1.1 percent. Analysts called that disappointing but believe it is just a pause not the start of a period of stagnation.
