Bank of Japan more optimistic


The central bank in Tokyo says it is slightly more optimistic about Japan’s economic and financial conditions as exports and output bounce back, despite record deflation, rising job losses and weak capital spending.

That makes it more likely the Bank of Japan could phase out some of the special measures it introduced to support companies and the economy. Those measures are due to expire at the end of the year.
