Weather delays Discovery launch

NASA has delayed the launch of the space shuttle Discovery because of storms over Cape Canaveral.

Discovery and its seven-member crew were due to blast off on a 13-day mission to restock the International Space Station with food, spare parts and laboratory equipment. NASA will be hoping to get the spacecraft off sooner rather than later following the launch of the last mission in July, which had to be postponed five times due to technical glitches and poor weather. The next launch window opens on Wednesday.
