Israeli police have reportedly recommended that the ultra-nationalist foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman be charged with corruption and money laundering.The recommendation is to be presented in the coming days to the state prosecutor Menahem Mazouz. He will make a decision whether Lieberman has to answer the charges. If found guilty the foreign minister will be forced to resign. Lieberman is head of the ultra-nationalist party Israel Beiteinou. He has been under police scrutiny for several years. He has also been interviewed on a number of occasions by the police fraud department.
