Six die in Stockholm fire

At least six people have been killed, most of them children, in a fire near Stockholm.

The fire broke out on the ground floor of a building late on Saturday night in the largely immigrant suburb of Rinkeby about 15 kilometres west of the Swedish capital. Police say 5 girls and a woman perished in the blaze after getting trapped in the apartment block’s lift. Two people are also reported to be in a critical condition after suffering smoke inhalation The cause of the fire is still being investigated but authorities have already ruled out arson.More about: Sweden
