Japanese exports pick up

The slump in Japan’s annual exports slowed in June and company earnings there continue to show surprising strength providing further evidence that stimulus spending is working.

Japan’s exports to China, as well as to the United States and Europe, posted narrower annual declines. Exports fell an annual 35.7 percent in June, smaller than the 40.9 percent drop in May.More about: ,
