Mixed news from Volvo trucks

The world’s second largest truck maker Volvo has posted a worse than expected second-quarter loss and said it still sees the economic downturn causing its main markets to shrivel this year.

But on the positive side the Swedish company managed to cut inventories further as it adjusted to plunging demand and burned through less cash than in the previous quarter. Its operating loss was 631 million euros.
