Airport protest delays Yemenia flight

A Yemenia Airways flight from Paris to Sanaa was delayed at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport today by young protestors of Comoron origin.

Some 60 passengers refused to board a scheduled flight, some influenced by the protest. A number of the passengers were on their way to the Comoro islands, the scene of a Yemenia crash on Tuesday. The demonstrators said prayers for the more than 150 people killed in the crash. Only one survivor has been found so far. Meanwhile, French and US military aircraft have joined the hunt for possible survivors of Tuesday’s Yemenia flight. It was on the final leg of a trip from Paris and Marseille to the Comoros via Yemen. A flotilla of boats is also involved in the search. 0
