H&M's Q2 profit beats forecasts


Hennes &Mauritz – the world’s third-biggest clothing retailer – beat second-quarter profit forecasts.

The Swedish group’s shares rose, even though it delivered a lower-than-expected performance for May, when sales were unchanged from a year ago. H&M, which has over 1,800 shops in more than 30 countries, also said currency swings were now costing it less.
