Peugeot heading for two billion euro loss


Peugeot Citroen has said it expects to make an operating loss of as much as two billion euros this year.

That warning came as it announced plans to sell bonds which would raise up to 575 million euros. The French carmaker did though say that with vehicle scrappage programmes introduced in several European countries it now expects sales in the region will fall less sharply than it had originally feared.
