Volvo’s truck sales slump

Swedish truck maker Volvo’s deliveries of vehicles fell 57 percent in May compared with the same month last year.

But it noted that the sales of almost 9,500 lorries represented an increase of three percent from April. Volvo, the world’s second largest truck maker, is in the process of cutting thousands of jobs in response to what it says is the steepest ever decline in market demand.More about: ,
