This is what waterboarding looks like, and now the Democrat’s Nancy Pelosi says the CIA lied about its use in post 9-11 interrogations when she was on the Senate Intelligence committee in 2002. This week the CIA said Pelosi had been aware of the methods used, but now seven years later she condemned them. Not true, says Pelosi.“I’m telling you that they talked about interrogations that they had done and said we want to use enhanced interrogation techniques, and we have leagal opinions that they are ok. We are not using waterboarding, that is the only mention, that they were not using it, and now we know that earlier they were. So, yes I am saying that they are misleading; the CIA was misleading Congress,” she said. In the post-Iraq witchhunt Dick Cheney’s name has come up more than once. The CIA this week refused to release files Cheney said would back his claim the interrogations produced vital evidence, and which he could use in defence of his policies. Also unreleased this week, and stirring anger among supporters of President Obama, who has gone back on a promise to publish them; photos of the horrors of prisons in Iraq.
