France-Soir owner pledges 20 million euros


The new Russian owner of struggling French evening newspaper France-Soir is promising to spend 20 million euros on it.

France-Soir’s director general Alexander Pugachyov, the 23 year old son of a Russian oligarch and a French citizen, is moving the paper into a new building in central Paris next month, will employ more journalists and hopes to break even by the end of next year.
