Time is running out for any remaining survivors who may still be trapped in the rubble after Italy’s massive earthquake.
It is now more than 24 hours since rescue teams recovered anyone alive
Overnight, a further two bodies were found, bringing the official death toll to 275. Between 20 and 30 people are still missing.
Italy’s President Giorgio Napolitano has also made his first visit to the region to meet local leaders and view the devastation up front.
The interior ministry has given teams until Sunday before the official clean-up begins.
Some 28,000 people were made homeless by Monday’s quake. Of those, around 17,000 remain in temporary camps set up by the authorities, providing essential food and shelter.
