Binghampton in shock after shooting spree

The goodfolk of Binghamton, New York are still trying to make sense of the shooting spree at an immigration centre that left 14 dead including the gunmen.

The killer barricaded a door at the back of the building with his car before opening fire with two semi-automatic handguns. The American Civic Association helps immigrants and refugees with a number of issues such as resettlement, citizenship and translation services. The guman is alleged to be Jiverly Wong, himself an Vietnamese immigrant. He burst into the building shot two receptionists without a word then entered a citizenship class and opened fire. One of the receptionists, shot in the stomach played dead then alerted the emergency services. Meanwhile its emerged that Pakistani Taliban leader Baituallah Mehsud has claimed responsibility for the murders saying it was in response to US drone attacks in his country. That is still to be confirmed.
